Christie is celebrating its 10th year at IBC (Sept. 13-17, Hall 9 Stand C17) with the first European presentation of a number of new products.
The company is supporting IBC TV and the IBC conference programme, and is once again the supplier for digital cinema projection at the IBC Big Screen experience.
Among its products being shown is the Christie FHD551-XG, an LCD flat panel which offers full HD resolution, high pixel density and an LED-backlit screen. Christie claims to be the first to bring to market super-narrow bezel LCD panels with all-weather, optically bonded Corning Gorilla Glass, providing impact, scratch-resistant displays which can be used for outdoor digital signage and high-traffic public spaces. These panels deliver an enhanced visual experience, making images appear more vivid and crisp.
Also being shown is the Christie Brio – a presentation and content sharing solution which enables meeting participants to share across multiple locations, running audio and video presentations from their own smart devices wirelessly without the need to install any third party software. Brio features a whiteboard which can be shared in real-time for comment, note-taking or drawing – all of which can be saved, shared or recalled for later editing. As a result, participants are able to share information much more easily and leverage critical knowledge faster, allowing them to make more informed decisions.
The Christie QuadHD84 is a versatile, quad high definition LCD flat panel that provides a unique interface for true 60Hz performance at a full 3840 by 2160 resolution, compatible with both computers and video sources. The 84” Christie QuadHD84 display provides rich, pristine and detailed images for the ultimate in realism. The super-fast refresh rate allows for smooth, real-time motion display of 2D content while its 50,000 hours illumination life makes it reliable and cost-effective.
And the Christie FHD461-X – a 46” HD LCD flat panel with the tightest seams, best image quality and slimmest profile in its class. It produces vivid, crisp images on a near-seamless tiled video wall display.
Christie technology will be displayed by several partners at the show, including Vizrt, coolux, Harris Broadcast, Autodesk, Quantel and Lund Halsey.
