Following on from our tease back in July ‘Two New @ForrestMedia1 Digital Screens, Scotland‘ Managing Director at Forrest, Marc Keenan tells us that Scotland’s premium Out of Home media owner are officially launching the two new digital screens on Monday.
- CityScreen Edinburgh will be the capital city’s first ever large format roadside commercial advertising screen. This huge new Portrait screen is situated at the top of Leith Walk on the approach to Princes Street, the world famous shopping and tourist destination, as well as Harvey Nichols, John Lewis, the Omni cinema and leisure complex and the main Waverly train station. The prime advertising location is already well established, having previously been the site of Edinburgh’s best-selling portrait backlight.
- CityScreen – ‘Great Western Gateway’ (shown above) at Anniesland in Glasgow will be Forrest’s second digital screen in the largest city in Scotland. Located just before the busiest road junction in the UK, at Anniesland and in an area otherwise short on ‘out of home’ advertising opportunities, the full motion digital screen see’s the reincarnation of an historic advertising location. Vital for covering the West End of Glasgow and targeting routes from the city towards Glasgow International Airport and situated near to the new Glasgow Clyde College, home to 7,000 full time and 20,000 part time students.
In keeping with the rest of the Forrest CityScreen portfolio, both new screens will offer live feed and full motion capability and are run by Scala digital signage software.
