An Armchair Conversation With Mike DiFranza

Any conference organiser worth their salt wants to stay / be relevant and of course react to last minute industry changes and Steve and I are absolutely no different in that regard.

The DailyDOOH Investor Conference, which takes place three weeks today in NYC, now has on its agenda a very special guest – in an ‘armchair conversation’, we have Mike DiFranza taking us through his past, present and future; co-founder Captivate Networks, DPAA Founding Chairman and in his new role as CEO, Otter Hill Advisors.

In April 2004, Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE: GCI) acquired the assets of Captivate Network BUT it was Mike DiFranza who launched the company, with co-founders Todd Newville and Ray Pineau back in October 1997 (subsequently merging with its competitor – Toronto, Ontario-based Elevator News Network) before overseeing the division spun out with investment from private equity firm Generation Partners, into a separate company co-owned by Gannett and Generation.
