Caervision’s Asthma And Allergy Network Sold 2 AccentHealth

AccentHealth, New York-based patient education company at the Point-of-Care, has purchased the Asthma and Allergy waiting room television network of Caervision Corp., adding another network group to Accent Health’s various medical network properties.

accenthealthlogoThe new doctor office locations will become part of the AccentHealth network and will carry AccentHealth’s award-winning health education programming produced by CNN.

“With the steady increase in the prevalence of allergy and asthma sufferers across the nation, the need to educate these patient populations on how to better treat and manage their condition has never been greater,” says Dan Stone, CEO of AccentHealth. “This deal continues the rapid expansion of our networks and we look forward to working with our new physician office partners.”

Caervision will continue to own and operate its other networks in veterinary, podiatry, chiropractic, cosmetic and dental practices.

AccentHealth’s screens are located in over 30,000 physician waiting rooms and serving over 70,000 medical professionals across the U.S.. AccentHealth features its waiting room TV network, reaching over 202 million yearly viewers, with programming produced by CNN’s Medical Unit and co-hosted by Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Robin Meade, and supervised by AccentHealth’s Medical Advisory Board. AccentHealth is owned by M/C Partners, Ridgemont Equity Partners and senior management. It is a founding member of the Point-of-Care Communication Council.
