The DailyDOOH Media Summit (Chris Ross @CocaCola_GB)

Chris RossSenior Brand Activation Manager at The Coca-Cola Company presented under the theme ‘Why We Love Digital Out Of Home’ and reminded the audience that Coca Cola has been heavily investing in outdoor for nearly sixty years and has recently become one of the most prominent brands using digital out of home.

It was in 1955 that they put up their first sign in Piccadilly some 200 meters away from where the event was being held

In 1999, Coke was the first advertiser to use a non-neon sign and the site was updated in 2012  with a new digital LED. He then went on to demonstrate how the brand has made increasing interactive use of this, and its other screens assets.

Note: In order to make The DailyDOOH Media Summit video highlights ‘package’ a little more digestible, during the summer we’ll be running a Friday post featuring each of the 30-minute presentations.
