Franca Surace Leaves Fujitsu

Word in from our media owner spies down under is that Franca Surace, the lady who was heading up the Global Fujitsu digital signage business has left Fujitsu.

In our opinion TELentice has been a lost cause for many a year but with her departure the product has no leadership whatsoever.

    I can confirm that Franca left Fujitsu in March 2014. Fujitsu Digital Media is now under the leadership of Stewart Cathie (Director – Digital Media). Far from being a “lost cause”, the next release of TELentice (version 6.3.0) will be in production in September 2014 and includes face detection, NFC and bluetooth connecters, new Operations Dashboard and a Social Media monitoring tool. The next phases of TELentice development are currently being finalised and Fujitsu’s financial commitment to ongoing investment in the platform will be increased.
