Clear Channel To Cut 1,850 Jobs

The parent of Clear Channel Communications Inc. (CC Media Holdings (CCMO)) told workers earlier today that it was cutting 1,850 jobs – that’s about 9% of the company’s total workforce. The cuts will affect staff throughout the company, in radio, outdoor advertising and in corporate offices.
