June 12th, 2019

Andrew Neale

ONELAN has launched a dedicated digital room booking solution Reserva Edge, bringing a new level of ergonomic design and performance to the product range, with step change improvements in security, management, monitoring and functionality.

Reserva Edge features an innovative industrial design based on a wealth of feedback from partners and customers, delivering a product with the fit and finish befitting the most prestigious buildings and interior designs.

It features a portrait orientated, tilted touchscreen interface with edge to edge glass, anti-finger print coating, fully concealed cables and connectors, clear LED status illumination inside and outside the room, and an optional fully integrated ID card reader.

Uniquely for room signage, Reserva Edge is built upon ONELAN’s leading Net-Top-Box (NTB) digital signage operating system, meaning the room signs can be managed remotely and centrally from ONELAN’s Content Management System. Reserva Edge is a comprehensive communications platform with multizone layout design, and extensive playlist and scheduling controls.

We are told that utilising ONELAN’s proprietary Linux based operating system brings additional security benefits for organisations and means the full software stack can be updated remotely over the network.
In addition, the adoption of Intel technology delivers optimum performance and responsiveness for the device.

Reserva Edge is available in a 10” screen size. 15” and 22” standard screen models are available which also benefit from the same enhanced NTB platform as Reserva Edge.

Simon Carp, ONELAN senior product manager told us “ONELAN has continued to lead and invest in developing best-in-class solutions and the new Reserva Edge is a further example of this long-term investment in innovation. Reserva Edge takes digital room booking to a new level, both from a hardware design, but critically the enhanced platform capabilities too.”

Solving The #DOOH Connectivity Conundrum

June 12th, 2019

Guest Contributor, Anna Hedley

You had only to look around the room at the last AdTECH: OOH – London event to understand how the industry is embracing the concept of automated and programmatic trading of DOOH. What started off as a small half-day workshop back in 2016 is now a global series with events in London, Amsterdam, New York and Sydney. Attendance from senior level members of both the buy and sell-side is testament to where automation sits on the industry’s agenda.

Dig deeper still, particularly on the buy-side, and you’ll see how that agenda is already in motion. Sophisticated, proprietary automated planning systems are being developed. MediaCom’s Trading Desk, Talon’s Plato, Posterscope’s Ecos and Kinetic’s Aureus are all data-driven systems designed to plan and buy in increasingly audience, rather than panel, centric and granular ways, albeit each one with a different approach.
