The HDBaseT Alliance will be demonstrating devices and displays with integrated HDBaseT technology at InfoComm 2011, June 15-17, in Orlando.
HDBaseT Alliance is a cross-industry alliance of companies that was formed to promote and standardize HDBaseT technology for whole-home and commercial distribution of uncompressed high definition multimedia content.
The demos at InfoComm will showcase end-to-end commercial installation scenarios, comprised of large signage displays connected to a variety of products from Alliance member companies. The demonstrations will highlight the benefits of HDBaseT for large scale commercial installations and multi-room installations, sending HDBaseT’s 5Play−uncompressed HD video, audio, Ethernet, power (100w) and controls−via a single, 100m Cat5e LAN cable. Using the single, long-reach cable, HDBaseT demonstrations will showcase unmatched performance, reliability and flexibility for installers’ key implementation requirements
Booth visitors will experience end-to-end commercial installation scenarios, comprised of large signage displays connected to a variety of products such as matrixes, switchers, receivers and extenders provided by HDBaseT Alliance member companies including AMX, Atlona, Crestron Electronics, Gefen, Kramer Electronics, Microsemi, Panduit and more. The various demonstrations will focus on integrated HDBaseT technology and device interoperability.
The Alliance will also demonstrate a multi-room installation concept showcasing the vision and progress of HDBaseT technology in the consumer electronics market as well as the unique power capabilities it enables.
Throughout the show, products from HDBaseT Alliance member companies Atlona and Gefen will be given away to random booth visitors as raffle prizes.
